Course Structure

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program follows a structured academic framework as per regulatory guidelines. The course spans 4½ years, comprising 4 years of academic study followed by a 6-month compulsory internship. The curriculum is systematically divided into phases, covering foundational medical sciences, core physiotherapy subjects, and advanced clinical training. Each academic year is designed to progressively enhance the student’s knowledge and practical competence.

Internship Model

The institution provides a comprehensive internship program aligned with university norms. After successful completion of the academic course, students undergo a 6-month full-time clinical internship. During this period, students work in various specialized departments, gaining exposure to diverse clinical conditions and treatment methodologies. The internship ensures practical proficiency, professional confidence, and readiness for independent practice in healthcare settings.

Evaluation Process

The evaluation system is designed to assess both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. It includes internal assessments, practical examinations, clinical evaluations, and university examinations conducted as per academic regulations. Continuous assessment methods such as assignments, case studies, and presentations are used to monitor student progress. The system ensures a balanced evaluation of academic performance, clinical competence, and professional development.
